Of the sample data we looked at regarding Appjobs members (with those working delivery gigs being the most prevalent), their average earnings per gig were $8.16. Considering that some gigs could be as quick as 20 minutes to complete, those gig workers stand to make well in excess of the $7.25 federal minimum wage requirement.
Since being founded in 2017, Appjobs has seen incredible growth in its members around the world – particularly in the United States. And despite facing a once-in-a-century pandemic, our American members collectively made around half a million dollars between June and November 2020 based on calculations on a sample group.
We wanted to dig a bit deeper into that data to see how well Appjobs members were performing with each gig.
One note is that the calculation is based on the number of tasks, which means we haven’t counted in the amount of hours it took for the gig workers to get the amount of gigs which the earnings are based on.
